Perched within the raw, elemental landscape of Muskoka, this 9,000-square-foot residence is a study in restraint—where luxury interior design is expressed not through excess, but through material honesty and atmosphere.

Conceived by a Toronto-based interior designer, the home is deeply connected to its surroundings. Expansive glazing draws the rugged granite terrain and surrounding forest into the interior, creating a seamless relationship between architecture and nature.

A quiet palette of marble, limewash, and wood-clad walls is enriched by moments of burnished bronze, with each surface selected for its tactile depth and ability to age gracefully. The kitchen’s monolithic stone composition and fluted concrete fireplace serve as sculptural focal points, grounding the home in a sense of permanence and timelessness.

Rooted in biophilic and wellness design principles, this high-end residential interior project reflects a distinctly human-centric philosophy—one where calm, connection, and materiality shape a home that feels both refined and deeply lived-in.
