Curated Mediterranean Home
A Vision of Modern Luxury
ARCHITECT: Richard Wengle Architect
BUILDER: Casa Build
PHOTOGRAPHER: Studio Laru
A luxury interior design project shaped by memory rather than mimicry.
Rooted in a human-centric design approach, this Toronto residence draws inspiration from the client's travels across Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, and Britain. Rather than replicating distinct styles, the design distills the atmosphere of these destinations into a cohesive, wellness-driven home.
Arched passages, tailored millwork, and layered plaster detailing establish a refined architectural rhythm grounded in proportion, texture, and natural light. Every element has been thoughtfully considered to create a sense of balance, comfort, and timeless sophistication.
Colour is introduced with restraint and intention. Mineral washes, softened greens, and warm, textural neutrals evoke a biophilic sensibility that prioritizes emotional connection and everyday livability.
Spanning 8,000 square feet, this luxury residential interior balances grandeur with intimacy. Designed for modern family life, it expresses a quietly collected point of view—one that is internationally influenced, deeply personal, and enduringly elegant.
